Regular performances in some of the world’s most prestigious venues have confirmed Florilegium’s status as one of Britain’s most outstanding period instrument ensembles and have been described as 'great poets, magicians who will hypnotise your mind in the magic of their music, touching the very heart of your soul.'
The Brandenburg Concertos (BWV 1046–1051) by Johann Sebastian Bach are widely regarded as some of the greatest orchestral compositions of the Baroque era. Director, Ashley Solomon, presents the concertos in reverse order, so that the number of players increases with each work.
