American cellist Eiline Tai and Dutch-American pianist Carter Muller began their collaboration through their work with the late Alfred Brendel. Working closely with him on Beethoven’s complete sonatas for cello and piano, as well as Schubert, they received invaluable guidance that continues to resonate in their musical partnership today. Brendel described them as "among the most precious discoveries of the past years," praising "the revelation of cellist Eiline Tai alongside the eclectic qualities of pianist Carter Muller."
