BBC Young Musician finalist Sofía Patterson won the Royal Academy of Music’s Piccolo Prize in her first year, and the Altus William Bennett flute prize the next. Already building up an impressive performance resume, Sofia has been guest principal with the Aurora Orchestra at the Aldeburgh Music Festival, and with the Philharmonia’s Music of Today ensemble.
Sofía is currently studying with Michael Cox at the Royal Academy of Music. In 2022 Sofía won the BBC Young Musician Woodwind Final which led her to perform the Ibert Flute Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Mark Wigglesworth in the Grand Final.
Jack Redman is a British pianist, organist, composer and singer. Working primarily as a pianist, he specialises in song and chamber music accompaniment across musical genres. Career highlights include music staff credits for Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Lyric Opera Ireland and performances with The Sixteen and The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He has performed at prestigious venues nationally including Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Cadogan Hall, and the Holywell Music Room in association with the Oxford International Song Festival.
