Sir András Schiff is world-renowned as a pianist, conductor, pedagogue and lecturer. Universally acclaimed for his masterful interpretation and cyclical programming of music by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann and Bartók, we are delighted that he has agreed to return to Chipping Campden to open our special silver anniversary festival. Since the pandemic Sir András no longer announces the programmes for his piano recital in advance. As he rehearses he chooses works by his favourite composers that he feels best suit the instrument and the venue’s acoustic.
